Sidi Ifni: The Truth

June 16, 2008

A lot of things were said about what happened in Sidi Ifni in the national media, the International one, the positions of the officials, the positions of the civil society… Here I suggest to have a look at a neutral bloger’s eye. This alternative source of news can very effective sometimes to transmit the TRUTH and nothing but the TRUTH.

  1. You are one of the few bloggers I noticed who didn’t cut and paste from the Maghreb Arabe Presse website.
Thanks for putting down the pom-poms and just offering a view.
    Looked terrifying.
The FIDH has yet to post their report (at least in the english section) in their own name, on their own website, etc.

  2. Dear Jamal,

What happened in sidi ifni was shamful for the whole country. But also, i’m not with al jazeera and hassan rachdi’s version which is too much exagerated. I think neutral videos are the pure truth. you know what we say “information is holy, and comment is free” there can be many comments to the same image depends on the perspective and the interests of the person ;”)

  3. So What is the update on Sidi Ifni?

I haven’t been able to find any images or eye-witness accounts since the Al-jazeera thing blew up…

  4. INVESTIGATIONS INVESTIGATIONS BLABLABLA THAT4S WHAT REMAINS OF SIDI IFNI. SAD BUT TRUE😦
